Pictures of my Bedroom - Fall 2015

At school, your bedroom can be the only place where you feel comfortable in your own skin. You're running around campus all day making it to classes, meetings, and clubs. It's nice to finally lay down at the end of the day in your own customized space. As a junior in college taking 18 credits this semester, I need a place to get away from all of the noise and to focus on school and get a nap. Here are some pictures of how I customized my space this year.

The Palm Tree was only ten dollars at Walmart but it's such a wonderful addition to my room. I've alway been obsessed with Palm Trees and it makes me think of my vacation to California this summer. The wooden crates on top of my wardrobe are perfect for holding toiletries and extra towels that I don't need yet.
Most of the pictures in the collage on my desk are mine but some of them aren't. I like inspiration boards because I can look at it while I'm doing homework and start thinking about the beach, the city, and other fun trips I've gone on in the past years. I got the painting on top of my desk from a local artist that I did an internship with last summer. The backpack hanging on the chair was made by me, I was planning on selling it but now I just use it every day!
The thing that I love about clothing racks is the idea of putting clothes on display. There are so many things that you can add to a room to add personality. In my opinion it showcases your personality the most because it shows the clothes you wear every day.

Thanks for looking at pictures of my room! I'm sure it'll continue to grow and change, and when it does, I'll keep you updated!

  3. I have been following you on Tumblr for years now and I just love the whole brand you've created, lol. You remind me of Jenna Marbles, sort of, spiraling of a viral video/post and creating a presence and following for yourself. I love your room, it's so cute!

    1. No problem! I know this is a longshot, but I actually am trying to build a presence myself. I have a YouTube channel and I would love for you to check it out and tell me what you think. It's at http://www.YouTube.com/trmchannel

  5. Do you think when you finish school your decorating habits will totally change? Will you stick with your eclectic fun style using statement and accent pieces or will you be dreaming of something totally different like a minimalistic room with clean lines and built in wardrobes (or should I say closets?) Just interested in what your dream bedroom would be like.
