The End of the Summer

The summer is finally coming to an end and it's almost time to head back to school or buckle down for the next season of work. Take this time to reflect on your summer and how you feel it went.

Did you achieve all of your goals?
Did you venture out and try something new?
Did you make any new friends?
Did you do something brave that you never thought you would do?

One of my main problems that I had until 2016 was that I never documented enough in my life. I find so much relief after writing down major moments in my
Life such as goals, accomplishments, and just things in general that I'm thankful for. This fall, make a list of all of the things that you want to do with your friends, your family, and on your own.

Splurge a little on yourself. Read a good book, get into some September issues of magazines, invest in some lingerie, buy some artisan tea that makes you feel like you're in a cafe in Paris. Make yourself happy and don't forget to document your favorite moments along the way.

Check out my latest CollegeFashionista article!

During the week, how easy is it to get caught up in daydreams about the warm sand, waves crashing, and the cool salty breezes? Fortunately, it isn’t hard to bring those daydreams of our favorite beach getaways with us into the city.  If you’re pining away for the beach, perhaps a few summer prints and pastel colors in your outfit can satiate your coastline blues. No sand required.

The Magic of New York

New York City is a weird place with millions of people who don't match together but somehow blend together perfectly.

There are so many different kinds of people from all over the world who call NYC their home.  With so many different types of people here, everyone is trying to show themselves in a way that makes them unique. Everyone chooses outfits every day that represents their personal brand.

There is no one uniform when it comes to style in Manhattan. People dress how they want and how they want others to see them. No matter how crazy or reserved you are when it comes to style, everything goes when you're in New York City.

Five Outfits To Wear This Week

Do you have a lot of clothes but you need inspiration of how to put them all together? Check out these five outfits for some ideas for a week of awesome looks!

Monday

On a Monday morning when it's hard to get out of bed, throw your hair into polished low bun and put on some lipstick to make yourself look put together! Some ripped jeans and a black floral shirt will look coordinated and cool as you head off to start your morning!

Tuesday

A great outfit starts with important basics. This outfit is successful because it involves two simple pieces that go a long way. The front-button denim skirt is an up-and-coming trend this season and with a light and airy t-shirt, you'll feel comfy and fashionable.

Wednesday

Back to the basics. A plain flowy black t-shirt and boyfriend jeans are usually on standby in your closet when you're looking for something to wear, but pairing these two together is a great way to make the most out of your closet. Tuck your t-shirt into your pants and add a shoulder bag and you have a put together outfit in no time!

Thursday

A flowy off-the-shoulder white top and flowy black gauchos are two items you'll need in your closet this summer. The black pants are going to be a staple this summer and a white flowy top is a necessity any time of the year. The shirt and pants paired with a tan leather bag will be a perfect outfit for your Thursday.
