Netflix and Chill Kind of Night

For my favorite kind of "Netflix and Chill" kind of night, I'll be hanging out with my friends and watching shows and movies that make me laugh. Here's my guide to my favorite tv shows and pajama pieces to help you have the best Netflix and Chill night this fall!

On The TV

Never a bad time to sit down and watch this show. I love getting to know all of the characters and referencing the show whenever I can!

Just started getting into this show this semester, and I'm already regretting waiting so long. This show cracks me up, and my favorite episode is when the gang realizes all of the things that annoy each other about themselves (season 3, episode 8).

Always a classic, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is one of my favorite Netflix choices right now because of the hilarious writing of Tina Fey. My favorite character is Jane Krakowski's character, Jacqueline Voorhes!

Pajamas

The perfect girls night includes one of my favorite pieces from AdoreMe's pajama line to feel comfy and cute. These sleek midnight-black colored pajamas will be my perfect outfit and keep me warm this fall.

When it comes to lingerie, it's all about the black colors for me. I feel confident and comfortable wearing something just like these bra and underwear from AdoreMe. I love the cool patterns and support, and it's cool enough to wear under anything, not just your pajamas!

Not planning on catching a movie with your girlfriends? If so, your Netflix night may include some cool and simple lingerie. I don't like to wear anything too flashy, so I stuck to this pitch-black Matisse piece. I love this because of it's deep v-cut and strappy back.

What I'm Investing In This October

So I made a wish list of all of my favorite pieces that I need this fall. From either wearing them out or just needing new things, I’ve narrowed down my list to some classic black colored things that will match anything I wear. If you follow my Instagram you can see a little bit of what I wear on a daily basis, but these are just some of my picks for what I am interested in this year.
I am always on the lookout for new shoes.. but I need something for the season that will also transition easily into the upcoming spring. I found these heels and these boots that I can wear all season.

And of course, I need some accessories to go with these shoes, and nothing is more classic than a pair of stockings. For extra warmth, I will add a basic pair of black ribbed socks for my boots and peep-toe heels!

Last but not least, even though I have too many purses, it’s always good to go back to the classics, and get a giant tote bag for my days on the road to and from class. This one is such a low-key color, and will blend in with any outfit I wear this fall.

8 Things You'll Need This Fall (via Pinterest)

I know it may not seem like it, but in just over a month, you won't be having a panic attack trying to turn on the air conditioning once you get to your room. Soon we won't be seeing 95 degrees on the weather forecast every day and the world will be at peace. Summer is slowly starting to end and cool weather will soon be approaching.
Since we're already ahead, I went ahead and picked out eight things that have been on my lists to have this upcoming season. Here are 8 pieces (plus some things to pair with them) that you should keep on your radar this fall!

White Tennis Shoes (Source)
These babies will go with every outfit and pop with even the darkest colors for all you goths out there who wear black all year round.

Oversized Fuzzy Coat (Source)
Sometimes it's fun to be a little diva on the streets. While it may be ridiculous in the suburbs to flaunt a giant fur coat, in the city this fall it'll be hot to wear these back-in-style coats.

Button Down Shirts with Stripey Layers (Source)
My favorite thing about the fall is adding on the layers because there are so many different ways to show off your style. I love the frayed denim here and how she added the stripes instead of just leaving the button down alone.

Bell-Sleeves paired with Turtleneck and Black Booties (Source)
We've seen bell sleeves everywhere this summer but an even better look this fall will be layering it with a turtleneck for an even better step up.

Bandana Necklace (Source)
I'm sure you've also seen your fair share of bandanas this summer, but I really like the way they look with fall neutrals and layers more than I like them with tanks and shorts.

Wide-Leg Pants (Source)
Obviously plaid is a classic that is never going anywhere, but paired with a necktie and wide-leg army green pants, this flannel has a little bit of a makeover.

Lace Up Shoes (Source)
Also seen a lot this summer, these shoes will see a second wave in the fall paired with warmer items like boyfriend jeans and oversized wovens.

All-Denim Look (Source)

My favorite part about denim is that it will never go out of style :) I can't wait to go denim-on-denim this fall while staying warm.

York, Pennsylvania - October 31st, 2015

This is my third year going to school in York, Pennsylvania. I enjoy the terrain of PA. There seems to always be a new place to explore. York is filled with abandoned building, historic landmarks and unlimited hills to go hiking around. I love living in a city that is so close to so many natural locations. Driving out to go hiking only takes about 15 minutes and going downtown is only down the street. Growing up, I lived about 45 minutes from the closest mall, so it was always a big commitment if we decided to go into town. Living in York, I can go get some Caramel Apple lattes at the cutest coffee shops or go shopping at sophisticated boutiques whenever I decide that I want to. York makes my heart happy.

Fall is my favorite season in York. With the millions of trees around the county, there are even more opportunities to take pictures. A walk to class in the fall can be a relaxing nature walk. My favorite scenery is the day after it has rained in the fall because the leaves are laying on the wet roads and the hues of the trees look deeper than ever. I love the fresh air that you breathe in.

Even though you can't tell from the pictures, the visibility is amazing. We could see miles and miles away. From the highest points in York, ten miles away doesn't seem far at all. The deep reds and golds and oranges stand out and make the views so beautiful.

I love stopping to take in the fresh air. The cool musty smell of the air is so relaxing. I like to get outside because school can be so exhausting. As a junior taking 18 credits, doing an internship, and working part-time, breaks are definitely necessary. Sometimes it's good to take a break and get off of your campus. Going for a walk or at least getting out of your dorm is the best for you. Get outside before it gets too cold and enjoy the outdoors! Taking breaks like this definitely makes me feel more focused and ready for the week ahead.

There's always more to discover in York. From abandoned prisons, to gorgeous lakes, to adorable thrift shops, I'm always down to go on an adventure. Do you have any favorite locations to explore? Let me know where you go!

Boohoo Clothing Fall '15

Every season I look for new key pieces to fill in my wardrobe. This fall, I've found some perfect pieces from Boohoo! I'm loving my new jumpsuit and duster jacket that are perfect for any cool fall day! According to CollegeFashionista, jumpsuits are in right now, and I'm cool with that. I like colors that work with any season, like the berry color jumpsuit and the beige jacket.
The jumpsuit is still perfect by itself while it's still hot during the day, but the jacket is perfect for when the sun goes away and it gets a little colder. I added my own patterned cardigan for a little extra warmth in the morning on a walk to class. I wore sandals, but there are so many options of shoes for a jumpsuit. You could wear a jumpsuit like this to class, to a date, or out on the weekend! Check out my outfit and get the links to find my outfit on Boohoo.com!!

5 Perfect Bags To Buy Now That Transition Into Fall!

I love purses. I love when my outfit perfectly goes with the purse I'm wearing! But sometimes it's boring only wearing a basic tan colored leather bag. I like to expand my variety a bit and branch out to different colors. Since it's already the middle of August, it's smart to start investing in bags that will also work in the fall months. Here's a few of my favorites!
